Loop item templates

Designing the card itself as an Elementor template, with the part widgets pulling data for each diamond in the grid.

The five skins cover most needs. When none of them is your card, design your own: build one card as an Elementor template and the loop renders it once per diamond.

How it works

  1. Create a template — Elementor → Templates → Add New Template.
  2. Design one card on it, using the Diamond part widgets: Title, Image, Price, Field, Specs, Certificate, Actions. Layout it with a container as you would any Elementor design.
  3. Publish it.
  4. Assign it to the Loop item — Diamond card surface in NivoSync → Elementor.
  5. On your Diamond Loop, set Card source → Elementor template (loop item).

The loop now renders your template once per diamond, each time with that diamond's data in context.

You design ONE card; the loop renders it once per diamond.

Choosing the template

The loop's Loop item template control has two ways to point at one:

  • — Use "Loop item — Diamond card" assignment — (the default) uses whatever is assigned on the dashboard. One place to change it for every loop on the site.
  • A specific template, chosen from the list. Use this when one particular loop needs a different card from the rest.

Where the data comes from

Inside a loop item template, every NivoSync part widget resolves against the diamond being rendered — no configuration, no query loop to set up. So does everything on the Dynamic data page: dynamic tags, the [nivosync_data] shortcode and {placeholders} all work inside the card.

That is what lets you build a card from ordinary Elementor widgets — a Heading with a dynamic tag, an Icon List, your own badge — mixed with NivoSync ones.

Editing the card

You are editing one card outside a grid, so the Elementor canvas shows it full width. That is expected. To see it at real size, publish and look at the loop.

The part widgets show sample data in the editor when there is no diamond in context, so you are never designing against empty boxes.

Setting cards

Everything above applies to ring settings too, with the Loop item — Setting card surface, the Setting part widgets, and the Setting Loop's own card source control.

When to stay with the skins

Loop item templates are the most powerful option and the most work. The skins already handle hover states, list view, the responsive carousel on phones, the badges and the wishlist and compare controls. A custom card starts with none of that.

If what you want is different colours, fonts or alignment, the skins plus the Style tab get you there faster and stay consistent with the rest of the addon.
