Welcome to NivoSync

A short overview of what NivoSync does, what it does not do, and the prerequisites you need before installation.

NivoSync is a premium WordPress plugin that turns a WooCommerce store into a fully-stocked diamond catalogue powered by the Nivoda B2B marketplace. It ships with everything a serious jewellery retailer needs: real-time inventory sync, three premium themes, a Ring Builder, professional filters, wishlist and compare flows, and an appointment booking addon β€” all in one box.

This guide walks new customers from licence purchase to a live diamond catalogue in roughly an afternoon. If you came here for something specific, jump straight to the section you need from the sidebar.

What you get

A single licence unlocks the full product. There are no hidden upsell tiers, no premium-only features. Every customer receives:

  • The diamond catalogue core β€” hybrid cache plus live Nivoda API merge for sub-200 ms page loads on catalogues with 50,000+ diamonds.
  • The Ring Builder β€” a four-step engagement-ring designer that composes seamlessly with WooCommerce checkout.
  • All three premium themes β€” Default, Modern and Elegant β€” each fully customisable with brand colours, fonts and layouts.
  • Wishlist and Compare flows with up to 100 saved diamonds per visitor and four-up side-by-side comparison.
  • The Bookings addon β€” appointment scheduling with Google Calendar sync, reCAPTCHA spam protection and automatic reminders.
  • Twelve professional filters out of the box: shape, carat, colour, clarity, cut, polish, symmetry, fluorescence, lab, certificate, price and dimensions.

What NivoSync is not

It helps to be explicit about scope so there are no surprises:

  • It is not a Nivoda alternative. NivoSync is a client of Nivoda's B2B API. You need an active Nivoda account with API credentials to run any sync. Nivoda's terms apply to your use of their inventory data.
  • It is not a generic WooCommerce extension. The plugin assumes a jewellery-retail context. Filters, themes and Ring Builder all expect diamond-shaped data.
  • It is not a CRM, an accounting tool, or a fulfilment manager. Orders flow through your existing WooCommerce setup with the gateways and shipping plugins you already trust.

Before you start

You will need the following things in front of you before installation:

  1. WordPress access β€” admin credentials for the WooCommerce site you want to add NivoSync to.
  2. Your NivoSync licence key β€” delivered by email after purchase, formatted like NS-STD-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXX.
  3. Nivoda B2B credentials β€” username and password from your Nivoda dashboard's API section. If you do not have an account yet, sign up at nivoda.com and request API access from their team.
  4. A staging environment is strongly recommended for the first install. We provide a wizard, but a controlled environment lets you tune theme and pricing settings without affecting live customers.

How long this takes

StepTime
Install plugin and activate licence2 min
Onboarding wizard (8 steps)5–10 min
First sync (depends on catalogue size)5–30 min, runs in background
Theme customisation30–60 min
WooCommerce settings + first test order30 min
Total to a working diamond catalogue~2 hours

Most of the time is the first sync, which runs in the background. You can keep configuring while it processes.

What it looks like

The NivoSync admin landing page after activation and first sync.

The five pages in this section take you from zero to running catalogue in order. Read them in sequence the first time:

  1. System requirements β€” check that your hosting environment is compatible.
  2. Installation β€” three ways to install the plugin.
  3. Licence activation β€” paste your key, verify domain binding.
  4. First sync β€” connect Nivoda, run the initial inventory pull.

After this section, the configuration guides cover every setting in detail. You can dip into them on demand.
