Diamond gallery
The media viewer — photo, video, 360° and dimension diagrams, its four layouts, and the rules the 360° viewer needs to work.
The Diamond Gallery is the single diamond page's centrepiece: everything the supplier provided for that stone, in one viewer.
What it can show

Each is a switch. A stone with no video simply does not show that entry — the viewer never offers an empty tab.
Layouts
Four, matching the design set:
- Sofia — a left rail of view buttons beside the stage.
- Dayana — thumbnails above the stage.
- Maya — a stepped arc rail.
- Alexandra — dark orbs on a dark canvas.
Plus a Console bar layout with the controls in a bar under the stage, and per-layout options for thumbnails: below, left, with labels or as plain squares.
The 360° viewer
The 360° entry loads the supplier's rotating viewer in a frame. It is a third-party viewer, and it has one hard requirement:
The same applies to image lazy-load: excluding the 360° container from any lazy-load plugin avoids placeholders being injected inside it.
Controls worth knowing
- Stage — aspect ratio or a fixed height, radius, background.
- Rail width and Thumbnail height — on the Templates layout, the thumbnail column and the height of each thumbnail. Set both to the same value for square thumbnails. (The generic Thumbnail size slider is hidden there: that layout stretches the thumbnail to the rail, so it had nothing to act on.)
- Template canvas — background, text colour, rail background and rail title colour, on the Templates layout. Each template ships its own canvas and the skin only recolours the accent, so choosing Alexandra does not turn Soft Orbit dark on its own. Fill these to do it yourself. Empty means the template keeps its design.
- Rail title — on Soft Orbit Console, the small heading above the thumbnails. It can be switched off or renamed; hiding it closes the space it occupied.
- Zoom — a zoom rail on the stage, zoom on hover, and a fullscreen button that opens the media in a lightbox.
- Auto rotate — for the 360° entry.
- Badges — small marks over the photo thumbnail showing that a video or a 360° view exists. Both accept your own icon.
- View labels — rename each entry: Photo, Video, 360° view. The same text becomes the thumbnail's tooltip and its accessible name, so clearing the field leaves the thumbnail unnamed rather than falling back to a default.
- Thumbnail labels — a switch, on the Templates layout only. Off, each thumbnail becomes the image alone; the label texts above keep naming it for screen readers and on hover. The switch is not offered on the other layouts because they either never show a label (Thumbnails below / left, Console bar) or have no thumbnail image at all — in Text tabs and Technical the label is the tab, and hiding it would leave an empty nav.
Empty states
- A stone with no media at all shows the fallback image you set, or the core's placeholder.
- In the editor, the sample diamond has no video and no 360°, so those entries report themselves as unavailable. Real stones that have them will show them — this is not a misconfiguration.
Dimension diagrams
The measurements and proportions diagrams are drawn by the core from the stone's numbers, so they exist for any diamond with dimensions.
One styling note: the diagram card is always light, because the core draws it that way. The background control behind it sets what sits behind the card, not the card itself. On a dark skin that is what keeps the diagram readable.
