Licensing & activation

What do I get when I buy NivoSync?

A licence key for the NivoSync plugin plus the free Bookings addon, plugin updates for as long as your licence is active, and email support. You install it on your own WordPress + WooCommerce site.

See pricing

How do I activate my licence?

Install and activate the plugin, then go to NivoSync → Licence in your WordPress admin, paste your key and click Activate. The licence binds to the domain you activate it on.

Licence activation guide

How many sites can I use one licence on?

Each licence activates on the number of sites shown for your plan (for example, one site for the single-site licence). You can deactivate a site at any time to free the slot for another domain.

My licence shows "invalid" or "0 of 1 sites" — what does that mean?

Almost always it means the key has not been activated on this domain yet, or it was deactivated. Open NivoSync → Licence and activate it. If it still shows invalid after activating, contact support with your licence key and domain and we will check it.

Contact support

Can I move my licence to a different domain?

Yes. On the old site go to NivoSync → Licence → Deactivate, then activate the key on the new domain. A licence is not locked to your first domain forever.

Installation & requirements

What are the requirements to run NivoSync?

WordPress 6.5 or newer, PHP 8.1 or newer, and WooCommerce. NivoSync integrates with WooCommerce for the cart, checkout and orders.

System requirements

Do I need WooCommerce?

Yes. NivoSync builds on WooCommerce so the diamond catalogue, ring builder and checkout use your existing WooCommerce cart, payment gateways and order emails.

How do I install the plugin?

In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload the NivoSync zip, activate it, then activate your licence. The Bookings addon installs the same way.

Installation guide

Is NivoSync compatible with HPOS and the new WooCommerce checkout blocks?

Yes. NivoSync and the Bookings addon declare compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) and the Cart and Checkout blocks, so you will not see an incompatibility warning.

Diamonds & catalogue

Where do the diamonds come from?

From your Nivoda account through the Nivoda API. You connect your Nivoda supplier credentials and NivoSync syncs the live diamond catalogue into your site.

About Nivoda suppliers

Do I need my own Nivoda account?

Yes. You connect your own Nivoda supplier account so the pricing, availability and terms are yours.

Connecting Nivoda credentials

Does it store thousands of diamonds in my database?

NivoSync caches the feed in a dedicated table so browsing and filtering stay fast, but the diamond images are served from Nivoda's own CDN rather than downloaded to your server.

How often does the catalogue sync?

You control it. You can run a sync manually or schedule it, so the catalogue stays as current as you need without hammering the API.

Ring builder, themes & catalogue

What is the ring builder?

It lets a customer choose a diamond and a setting and buy the finished ring as a single WooCommerce product — the same way they would build a ring in a physical shop.

Ring builder

Which themes or skins are included?

Four front-end skins: Classic, Elegant, Modern, and a fully configurable Custom skin whose colours and typography you can tune to match your brand.

Themes

Will it match my existing WordPress theme?

The catalogue and ring builder render through WooCommerce and your normal checkout, so your theme, payment gateways and order emails stay exactly as they are.

Bookings addon

What is NivoSync Bookings?

A free addon for appointment and consultation booking — for example, in-store viewings or virtual consultations. It requires the core NivoSync plugin to be installed and active.

Bookings addon

Does the Bookings addon cost extra?

No. Bookings is a free addon included with NivoSync.

Elementor addon

What is NivoSync for Elementor?

An official addon that adds native Elementor widgets for the diamond catalogue, the single diamond and setting pages, and the whole Ring Builder. It lets you design those pages yourself in Elementor instead of using the built-in themes. It is an addon, not a replacement: the catalogue data, pricing, the Ring Builder session and checkout all stay in the core plugin.

See the addon

How much is the Elementor addon, and is it included in my licence?

It is a separate product, not part of the NivoSync licence. On its own it is £299 a year at launch pricing (normally £499). If you are buying NivoSync too, the Complete Pack bundles both for £1,099 a year instead of £1,198 bought separately.

See pricing

If I buy the Complete Pack, how many licence keys do I get?

Two: one for NivoSync and one for the Elementor addon. You activate each in its own screen in WordPress. The pack is a single annual subscription covering both.

I already own NivoSync. Can I add the Elementor addon later?

Yes. Buy the addon on its own for £299 a year and activate its key under NivoSync → Elementor. You do not need to change or re-buy your existing NivoSync licence.

Buy the addon

Do I need it to use NivoSync?

No. NivoSync ships with complete front-end themes that work with any WordPress theme and need no page builder. The Elementor addon is for stores that want to design those pages themselves rather than configure a ready-made one.

Do I need Elementor Pro?

No. The addon works with the free version of Elementor, 3.16 or newer. None of its widgets are behind a Pro-only feature.

Would I have to rebuild my whole site to use it?

No. You assign your own Elementor template to one page type at a time, and every page you do not assign keeps rendering with the NivoSync theme exactly as before. Redesigning only the single diamond page and leaving everything else alone is a perfectly normal setup.

What happens to my Elementor designs if the addon licence lapses?

Your templates are kept untouched. The addon's widgets stop rendering and those pages fall back to the NivoSync theme, and the widgets are hidden in the Elementor editor so no new ones can be added — but nothing you designed is edited or deleted, and it all comes back when the licence is active again.

Will it work with my theme?

It is tested against the themes people usually pair with Elementor — Hello Elementor, Astra, GeneratePress and OceanWP — and against WordPress block themes, at mobile, tablet and desktop sizes.

Updates & support

How do I get plugin updates?

Updates appear in your WordPress dashboard like any other plugin while your licence is active — you update NivoSync from Plugins or Dashboard → Updates.

How do I get support?

Email support@nivosync.com with your licence key and domain, or use the contact form. For a store-wide outage, put [URGENT] in the subject so it is routed straight to us. We aim to reply within one UK working day for licensed customers.
