Setting Loop

The ring settings grid — cards with real variant dots, compatibility filtering inside the Ring Builder, and the same pagination and AJAX as the diamond loop.

The Setting Loop is the diamond loop's sibling for ring settings. It queries your WooCommerce ring-setting products and renders them as cards.

If you have read Diamond Loop, most of this will be familiar — the card sources, toolbar, pagination modes and AJAX behaviour are the same engine.

What it needs

WooCommerce, active with the NivoSync integration on, and products in the ring-settings category. Without those the widget tells you so rather than rendering an empty grid.

The cards

The same five skins, with the same three card sources: the addon's skins, the core theme's card, or your own Elementor loop-item template.

What is specific to settings:

  • Metal variant dots. Each card shows a dot per metal the product actually offers. They are not decorative — clicking one swaps the card's image and price to that variation, so a shopper comparing rose against white gold does it in the grid without opening anything.
  • A "from" price, because a setting with metal variations has a range rather than a price. The prefix is yours to write.
  • A short description, trimmed at a word boundary to a character count you set.
The dots are live: clicking one swaps that card's image and price.

Inside the Ring Builder

Two controls change the loop's behaviour when a diamond has already been chosen:

  • Chosen-diamond banner — a summary card above the grid showing the stone, with a link back to the diamond step.
  • Only compatible settings — restricts the grid to settings that fit the chosen diamond's shape. This is the core's rule, and it is why a shopper who picked an emerald is not offered a head cut for a round.

With no diamond in the session, the grid shows everything and the banner shows an invitation to start.

Filtering

The loop listens to the setting filter widgets on the page — metal, style, shape and the composite Settings Filter Bar — and updates over AJAX without a reload. See Setting filters.

Sorting and pagination

Sort by popularity, price ascending or descending, or newest. Pagination offers the same three modes as the diamond loop: page numbers, load more, or infinite scroll.

Empty states

  • No settings found shows your own message.
  • In the editor with no ring-setting products, the loop shows sample settings so you can design. They are editor-only.
