Do I need a Nivoda account?
Yes. NivoSync connects to your own Nivoda account via API credentials — it does not resell Nivoda access.
Why does my catalogue show fewer diamonds than Nivoda advertises?
Because Nivoda is a marketplace of independent suppliers, not a single warehouse. When you open a Nivoda account you do not automatically see every stone on the platform: each supplier (in India, Belgium, Israel, Hong Kong and elsewhere) grants access to its own inventory. You request access supplier by supplier from your Nivoda dashboard, and your visible catalogue grows as those requests are approved. NivoSync syncs exactly what your Nivoda account can see — no more, no less. If your catalogue looks small, the fix is on the Nivoda side: request more suppliers. This is also why two jewellers running NivoSync can have very different catalogue sizes.
Does it work with any WooCommerce theme?
Yes. The catalogue and ring builder layer on top of standard WooCommerce, so your theme, checkout and payment gateways keep working.
Will customers see the Nivoda cost price?
Never. Your markup rules are applied on the server; shoppers only ever see your retail price.
How is this different from using the Nivoda API directly?
The API returns data; NivoSync is the whole shop around it — sync, caching, search, pricing and a ring builder — plus ongoing maintenance.
Do I need a developer?
No. Setup is done from the WordPress admin: enter your credentials, choose what to sync, and drop in a shortcode.
